10 Signs That You Are Noob In Mobile Legends

Being noob is not about getting killed by opponent. Probably he get killed because his opposing laner is good or a counter against the hero he is using. Even pro gamers get killed and tilted in laning but it doesn’t mean that they are newbie. Well for us to determine the real noob in game, below are 10 signs of usual things that newbie does and they continue doing it.

1. You are insta-lock
It is really annoying to see that you are going to play with insta-lock players in game. This is an indication that teamwork and team composition doesn’t matter to your ally. In lower tier, you can still win the game even the team is consist of insta-lock players because even the opposing team doesn’t care at all. But once you reached Epic division, you really need to play with the team and not by only thinking how can you be MVP for that match.

2. You left your turret off-guard
In most cases, you left your turret free for your opponent to take down if you want to go on the specific lane and your teammate didn’t agree with. So what usually happening is a 0-2-3 (top-mid-bot) match up. Also when you spend more time in roaming and haven’t extend the push enough. In most cases, noob roam because they can’t handle the opposing laner or they are just looking for a kill and not for a team objective of taking down turrets.

3. You are not checking the scoreboard
This is useful wherein you will see how everyone is doing in game. The best in Mobile Legends is you can check the gap of each player through the gold they earned. This will gives you  idea if you can handle a specific player in trades or not. You must check it from time to time, so you would if can stand him into 1v1 trades or can pin him down in laning. What noob is doing is engaging without idea and then when he dies he will say, “oh he got well fed already?”

4. You are chasing your enemy by judging his Hp
This is a common mistake I’ve seen in most noob. They are tilted in game and yet they have the guts to chase the enemy. Instead of focus on farming to get back in game, they are wasting their time chasing their opponent because it is in low Hp. You are really noob if you are doing that. It is because you are not checking the scoreboard so you don’t have the idea as well as you don’t understand your situation in game. What is important for you is to get a kill. Unless you have a incredible gap closing ability to chase down your target without getting a big risk such as Natalia, Fanny, and Karina never chase the enemy. Believe me farming will still gives you better gold than kill.

5. You are manaless and you are still getting blue buffs (spider)
Even you are a jungle as long as you are manaless such as Chou, Alucard etc, you must give the last hit to your allies so they will get the blue buffs for mana regeneration. This is a very big advantage in laner so they can spam their abilities especially for Rafaela, Alice, Eudora. Actually noobs really don’t know the blue buffs.

6. You don’t care on team objective

I’m talking about Turtle, Lord, and taking down turrets. When you see that your opponent doing it, you must help them. You will get the compensation as a team and it is a good morale boost to see players focus on team objective rather than kill or to be a MVP. I see lot of noobs doesn’t care at Turtle at all. Turtle is actually 1-kill gold for the team.

7. You are just following the recommended items.
Regardless of customizing it based on your build, it is not really good idea to just follow the recommend items for the hero you are playing. We  are talking about teamwork here and play with team composition. To make sure that you will get the best item for the match you are playing, you will based it on how the game progress. If you are tank and you see that most opponent are spell caster, you will take first the magic resist over armor. Also if you are a carry and you see that you have 2-3 tanks to take down, you must get Wind Chaser over other offensive items. It is cheap and good early item.

8. You don’t have a map awareness.
Mini-map gives you a idea on what is happening in game. Newbie doesn’t care at all. And it is really disappointing for a jungler to miss the gank because his teammate doesn’t aware on his presence going for a 2v1 trades. This is also a reason why there are players engage regardless of their disadvantage in number. They don’t aware on their teammate position. By just simply looking at the mini-map this will gives you idea on your teammate doing and your chance to win the teamfight by number. Well noob just engage without awareness on their map including their teammate. The moment they see a half-life enemy, it will be an engage regardless of 3v5 or 4v5 clash. Actually most players are not looking on mini-map when they are going to clash they are just looking at Hp as good judgment. Map awareness is very essential in game and I plan to write an article and how players can take advantage of it in my next stop.

9. You are not analyzing your mistake.
Instead you are blaming it to others. You get killed, and you blame it to your teammate who doesn’t report the missing enemy. I don’t get why there are some players who are blaming others for their error instead of just analyzing and learn through it. Actually you will learn a lot from your mistake than winning a match that gives you negligence to learn something new to improve. You are newbie now just like everyone else who started playing Mobile Legends. But instead of just blaming or feeling silly for it, they analyzed and learn a lot from it.

10. You are only using chat to trashtalk your teammate.
This meant for communication so you can stay on the game with teamwork. Just try to communicate in game especially if you see that your opposing laner will do gank to your allies. Or if you are going to take down Turtle or Lord. It is also a good way to praise your teammate everytime they do something nice in game or lift them up if they get fail. From years of playing MOBA, blaming your teammate for every wrong they did will not help you win the game. Instead just focus on the game spend time on getting back on it. Unless you are playing Mobile Legends on PC, keep it mind that chatting is time consuming so use it for useful talks and not for a trash.
